Breathe Into Spring

Spring has Sprung!

Does anyone else feel like they have finally woken up from the longest winters nap? All around me I hear the birds singing (even at 5am when I am trying to sleep), the grass is green, the flowers have bloomed, and everything smells alive. During this time of year, I love to get outside as much as possible as nature feels so healing and has been proven to improve awareness. 

Speaking of awareness, I want you to take a moment right now to breathe. Yup, stop what you are doing. Close your eyes and just take 5 gentle breaths. Now that you are back, what do you notice? Do you feel calmer, more centered, or just overall more peaceful?

In the business that is life, it is more important than ever to take some time to get outside in nature, breathe, and notice how your awareness shifts.

If you are like me and feel like you can’t add one more thing to your to-do lists, I invite you to try just taking 2-3 minutes a day to take a step away from your desk, the kids, or whatever life has thrown at you and just breathe.
