Welcome to September!


So I know that it’s September 7th and that I have had seven days to write that but until today it honestly hasn’t felt like September to me yet. Yes, school has started, pumpkin spice is everywhere, I have seen Halloween candy in the stores, and I contemplated wearing real shoes yesterday BUT it wasn’t until today that I was ready to process that summer was really over.

This summer, I was blessed beyond measure to be able to work from home and be with my daughter, Avery. We spent time at the lake, we vacationed with family, we had barbeques with friends, had picnic lunches, ran in the sprinkler, ate pounds of watermelon and ice cream. It was amazing but there is something to be said about routine. Waking up with a routine, a schedule in mind, and certain flow to the day, there is something to be said about that.

And for most of us being back to a schedule allows us to set ourselves up for new goals, new opportunities, and new visions. Whatever you have been thinking about incorporating into your life, September is your month of blessings and breakthroughs-make this September your new year! Why wait until January to live your best life yet?

Take some time today to write out 3 of your goals and intentions. This could be to walk more, drink more water, get better rest, focus on self care, spend more time with friends, learn a new recipe, or even start saving up for a winter vacation.
