I have a confession...

I have a confession, I have been eating too much sugar, drinking too much wine, and my exercise routine has been inconsistent. What the heck you might think? You are a health coach and you support people who struggle with these same things. What kind of health coach are you? I am a real one. I am a human being who occasionally overindulges and slacks with my fitness routine.

But guess what, today is a new day. You get to choose every day how you want to show up, how you want to live your life, and how you ultimately want to feel.

Here are 3 ways that I get back on track with my health and wellness goals:

Simply be more mindful of what you are putting in your mouth and how you are moving (or not moving) your body. By listening to your inner voice, you know the truth on what serves you and what doesn’t.

Write it down. Putting pen to paper writing down your goals is more powerful than thought-about-goals.

It’s not just about writing your goals down. Take action! Have you wanted to exercise more? Well just do it, think about what you can do today to incorporate more movement in your life. Go to the pilates class you have been thinking about , I promise once you get there you won’t regret it. Or put on your sneakers and go for that long walk. Just do it, your body and mind will thank later.

So in the spirit of this newsletter, I am taking charge of my health. I am going to mindfully enjoy this bean and kale soup I made (so good, click here for the recipe), I am writing down my top 3 health and wellness goals for the week, and I am getting ready to go for a long walk with my dog Ruby.

If you or anyone you know are looking for more support and accountability around their health and wellness goals, I have 3 spots available in my coaching practice and I would love to help you live your best life yet.

Much love,

Beth
